Paddock alpaca is a celebration of beautiful, undyed small-flock alpaca. It's a soft, slightly lustrous yarn with a fuzzy halo. The alpaca fibre is sourced from a single flock in Somerset, just south of Bristol, and is spun in the UK. This colour is the natural, undyed white yarn.
The yarn is a sport/light DK weight, worsted-spun with a medium twist that blooms wonderfully after soaking. It has some good drape and not much friction to it, and the halo means it can be worked at a slightly looser tension for an airy feel.
