Hand dyed and carded mixed fibre art batts for spinning or felting. Each batt is 25 g approx.
These batts are a blend of mohair (kid and adult), and Kent Romney, Shetland, and Teeswater wool. The colour is a warm brownish pink, with streaks of bright pink and cream. The texture is a combination of matte and tweedy from the Romney, and sleek and lustrous from the mohair. A small sample of yarn spun from this blend is shown in the last photo.
All the fibres are dyed by hand, and all are from British farms except the kid mohair.
