Hand dyed and carded mixed fibre art batts for spinning or felting. Each batt is 25 g approx.
These batts are a blend of Kent Romney wool and mohair. The colour is a vibrant orange-red, muted slightly by greenish yellow. The texture is a combination of matte and tweedy from the Romney, and sleek and lustrous from the mohair. A small sample of yarn spun from this blend is shown in the last photo.
All the fibres are dyed by hand; the Kent Romney is from various British flocks, and the mohair is from a single fleece from an angora goat in Wales.
