Duckweed batts

Hand dyed and carded mixed fibre art batts for spinning or felting. Each batt is 25 g approx. 

These batts are a blend of Kent Romney, Shetland, Teeswater and Merino wool. The colour is a warm, comforting mid-green with occasional streaks of forest green and gold. The texture is very matte, with small slubs and nepps for a tweedy texture.

All the fibres are dyed by hand, and all the wool except the Merino is British – the Teeswater and Shetland are from small English farms.
