Wynsum Mitts knitting pattern
Please note: This listing is for a digital PDF download of the knitting pattern only and does not include the materials to make the item.
These lightweight fingerless mitts are ideal for days where it’s a bit warm for full-on mittens and you still want to use your hands. The name Wynsum is an Old English word meaning ‘joyous’ or ‘delightful’ – and sums up the feeling of knitting lots of stockinette with a simple lace motif for interest!
The mitts are worked from the bottom up, in the round. Stitches are increased for the thumb then put on hold while the hand is finished – then the thumbs are placed back on the needles and finished.
