Episode 18 of the Podcast – Fresh projects for a new year, Yarnadelic, and mending cuffs

This episode features a couple of new knitting projects, a little review of a new yarn from John Arbon Textiles, and some slow mending of frayed cuffs on an old wool jumper of mine.

The Out of the Dark Make-Along blog post and Ravelry thread. You can also join in on Instagram tagging @marinaskua and #outofthedarkmal

My yoked jumper project details knit in Mendip DK yarn. The previous version I made is on Ravelry.

The fingerless mittens project details in Caia Baby Alpaca yarn (new colours to be released in February). A video of dyeing one of the new Caia colours will be on Patreon within a week of this episode going live.

John Arbon Yarnadelic – I used 3 mm needles for my swatches, and am quite a loose knitter.

There's a tutorial for blanket stitch here – note, I work mine in the opposite direction to usual, but the concept is the same.
