This listing is for a knitting kit containing a digital PDF download of the knitting pattern and the hand-dyed yarn needed to make the Opula Sweater in your chosen size.

Opula is a colourwork yoke jumper, worked seamlessly from the top down, with a tubular cast-on for the neck and short-row shaping to raise the back neck. It features stranded knitting in two colours on the yoke, hem and cuffs. The neckband, hem and cuffs are worked in the contrast colour. 
The design is inspired by the flowing, sinuous lines of Art Nouveau design, crossing and intersecting like roots and vines, with abstracted flourishes and ornamentation.

Gauge

22 sts and 30 rounds = 10 cm / 4” in stockinette in the round on larger needle, after blocking
24 sts and 30 rounds = 10 cm / 4” in colourwork pattern in the round on larger needle, after blocking
If you are unable to match gauge for the colourwork, you may need to go up a needle size for the charted sections.

Knitting Needles

2.5 mm / US 1.5 circular needle (or needle 2 sizes smaller than main needle)
3 mm / US 2.5 circular needle (or size required to obtain correct gauge)
